A lovely “blooming” display on the embankment. Lovely daffodils and multicoloured tulips looking their best. Great work to all those involved..

If you want to be involved with our  group you will be made very welcome..


The Woodworking shed is usually open on a Thursday between 12 and 3.30 p.m.
The Garden Project is usually Open on a Tuesday between 10 and 3 pm and a Thursday between 12 and 3 pm

The Girvan Men’s Shed  WOOD WORKING shed is open on a Thursday 12 noon to 3.30p.m. Our GARDEN PROJECT is  OPEN on a Tuesday between 10 am and 3 pm and a Thursday between 12 noon and 3.30 pm.
Girvan Men’s shed was set up by the Girvan Town team, website is, to provide a facility for local men to socialise and take part in various activities.

Our focus.

To provide a friendly environment in which local men and women can;

Come along and have a chat and meet new people. There is even tea, coffee and biscuits

Learn a skill

At the moment you can meke wooden products, e.g. bird boxes, planters etc.

Have some fun

Some members have brought along their model cars,. We are hoping to buy 2 for the club

Develop the group

All ideas to develop the group are welcome. Watch this space for further info...

I have been coming to the shed since March 2019 and I am thoroughly enjoying myself. It is great meeting new people, hearing  ideas on how  they would like the shed to develop and having a good laugh.
If you would like to come along on a Thursday when we are open for woodwork then please do. The garden project is open most week days…

Anyone over 18 are very welcome to come along. Anyone not identifying as a man, who are aged 18 and over and
who can tolerate being with a group of men are also very welcome to join the group....
