South West Scotland is an area of great natural beauty. Please enjoy these local views...

1) Views from the Byne hill, by kind permission of Paul Young – December 2020

As I have not been up “the Byne” for a good number of years it was great seeing these photo’s.
You can see the Galloway hills, Ireland. Mull of Kintyre, the Sleeping warrior on Arran, Ailsa Craig and looking north up the Clyde. Well worth a visit to the Byne..

2) Views around the village of Dailly, by kind permission of Paul Young – December 2020

I have not been for a walk round Dailly since my children were little. We Had some lovely walks and they especially enjoyed the “wobbly” footbridge over the river Girvan. We finished off the walk  at  the children”s play park and really had to get something to eat at the corner shop in the square.
Dalqurran castle looks lovely from any angle and the scenery is fantastic…

3) Views along the beach and harbour- January 2021…

Sue was out and about and sent me the pics of the moon and the swans.

I was round at Ainslie car park,-sorry but I still call the snack bar “Sincky’s” but it is Dave’s snack bar now – and then down at Girvan harbour.

The pics show Horse rocks, Golf Course road, the snow topped sleeping warrior on Arran and of course Ailsa Craig…

4) Girvan Harbour, Golf course road and Girvan Golf course…

Sue  was out  yomping around the harbour and Golf course.

I have noticed whenever I have been down at the harbour that there are no seals anywhere. Does anyone know if they are still there.

It’s great to get out and about in these Covid times……

5)Bargany gardens in 2016

Bargany gardens are one of the jewels in south Ayrshire.

The colours are amazing.
